The primary aim of BJNS is to foster the development of science by publishing rigorous, original work that addresses fundamental and applied challenges in natural sciences. The journal encourages interdisciplinary collaborations and cross-disciplinary perspectives that integrate methods and knowledge from multiple scientific fields.

Scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

• Life Sciences & Biology (e.g. ecology, microbiology, molecular biology, biodiversity, genetics)

• Chemical Sciences (e.g. analytical chemistry, organic / inorganic chemistry, chemical engineering)

• Physical Sciences & Physics (e.g. theoretical physics, materials science, optics)

• Earth & Environmental Sciences (e.g. geology, hydrology, climate science, environmental pollution, conservation)

• Mathematics & Statistics (e.g. mathematical modeling, applied mathematics, computational methods, data analysis)

• Interdisciplinary & Emerging Topics (e.g. bioinformatics, environmental biotechnology, geoinformatics, systems ecology)

BJNS particularly encourages studies with strong methodological rigor, clear significance, reproducibility, and potential for real-world impact. Comparative, regional, and multi-site studies in the context of Afghanistan and adjacent regions are especially welcome, but submissions from all parts of the world are invited.
